@TheBeav -- do you want black or raw?
Two sets in black, please.

I referred a couple more folks today Tom, and I suspect that more may want them over time so if you want to order a few more than you have commitments for I am sure you will be able to sell them to others; however, if so you may want to get just the Black ones since it appears there is much more demand for those than the raw ones.

Thanks, I size it up and order some early this week. Probably getting close enough to do a small run of raw ones for those who asked, and with any spares in black. That might give me a chance to try powder coating in satin black to see how that works. It's a tough piece to powder coat without leaving marks from holding/grounding it. Would need some kind of pinpoint fixture and/or just do them as left and rights without the bottoms coated.

As long as the sides are anodized along with the tops they should be fine...no need to do the backsides.

The issue is that both sides needed to be black in order for them to work on both sides of the car. Otherwise, I'd have to do one set as RIGHT covers and one set as LEFT covers.... Not a problem if you are doing your own, but it would effectively double the minimums for having them made. We'll all find out together how well these turn out!

Hi, another joining from rennlist via Bob! I'd take either set, needs delivered to UK though if you have any idea of costs?
Thanks,
SC

Did you want the black or raw ones? I'll order them this week.
Since they are so thin, I'm going to try mailing them in a regular envelope to avoid customs forms and save about $40 in international shipping. If that doesn't work, I'm sure it will be close to US$40 to ship to most of Europe....

That is a good idea Tom, and you can tape them to the inside of a thicker envelope so they do not move around, or tape them to a folded piece of thin cardboard (like a cereal box) so someone cannot feel them through the envelope. I have sent things that way a few times and it worked out well!
