The 944 Turbo S was introduced as a "streetversion" of the racecar 944 Turbo Cup and had alot of updates compared with the regular 944 Turbo. Updated engine internals (engine code M44/52)

Here is mine, I have owned it for over 20 years now. Still my favorite car, love the looks and feel of it.

Thank you so much, it was a recent labor of love. Did a full top end refresh with a lot of re-plating along the way.
would love to hear about everything you did and how it all went. Maybe in PM?Black944 turbo wrote: Mon Oct 23, 2023 1:24 pm Thank you so much, it was a recent labor of love. Did a full top end refresh with a lot of re-plating along the way.
Did you do the re-plating yourself?

I sent all the heat shields, bolts, nuts, hose clamps, hood latches etc… to a local plater that has done some work for a few friends. They did a great job and I don’t think I would personally want to try plating all of those parts myself.
As far as the repairs, I pulled the head and had valve stem seals done as well as having it thoroughly checked for any other issues. It all started out like most jobs on these cars as a simple front engine re-seal and belt job which led into all of that. I am happy to answer any specific questions.
