I've just fixed the window regulator, replaced the broken 10 speaker system, and fitted a modern head unit for the long journeys.

Next is a new exhaust tip, machine polish and ceramic coat, clear indicator lenses, and some gauge bezels.
Thanks for joining Carpokes and please keep those photos coming!

My name is Tom, I’m from Manitoba, Canada.

Some of us had a Countach poster, some had a 911 poster. I was the latter :D

I always said I’d buy a 911 someday, right from back when I was a kid in the late 80s. I seriously considered buying an SC back about 10 years ago, but never got around to it, and watched the prices go out of my reach.

I started to see the same thing happening in the 996 world, and decided now was the time. I found what I felt to be a good example, and in the colours I wanted, with good history documents and a 6 speed manual.

My 2001 C4 is great fun to drive. I put like 12,000kms on it this past summer. Took my kid camping and to the water slides in Wisconsin, found a bunch of great twisty roads. I’m loving the car. It is presently put away for the winter, and I’m looking forward to spring (while enjoying my JDM legacy GT wagon - which is also a fun car. Boxers forever  )
