looks like Dietrich Mateschitz was the glue holding everything together. It'll be interesting to see how everything pans out over the next year.

Without AN, things will fall apart by the 2026 season. I think they’ll stay in good shape this year and perhaps we’ll see the beginning of the crumbling next season. If he leaves after this year, I’m sure he’ll take his 2025 updates with him… wherever that is. He’s close to retirement, so that could be a surprise on everyone

So per this article he will stay with the team through " early 2025 " to work on their hypercar project . I think RB is smart enough like most teams not to have a single point of failure . Meaning they have a solid team of engineers to backfill . Yes AN is an aero genius but him leaving is a natural progression . Time will tell .

And let’s face it, he’s probably due to leave the sport sooner than later regardless.. he’s talked about retiring a lot especially after that cycling accident a few years ago. Ya it’s hard to think that car is ALL him

Interesting: AN's lawyer has managed to eliminate the " gardening leave " that was in his contract . So if AN signs with another team he will be able to start work with that team after leaving RB by end of March 2025 .

I would bet that Newey doesn't need the money. But who knows. I bet he doesn't go to HAAS....

I believe that Newey had two previous discussion with Ferrari and has said that at some stage in his career he would want to add the team to his experience. My guess is that he will go to Ferrari. Interesting - Newey and Hamilton for a while.
