Starting the gauge upgrade! My bezel is all dry and crusty. So first things first, I walnut blasted and cerakoted satin black. Just need to wait for it to cure. Came out pretty nice.

Looks great! The rings are a tight snap-fit, so the extra paint might make them a little tighter. If so, you could always sand away just the paint on the inside edge -- all of that gets covered by the new rings anyway. Keep us posted. Looking great. And on a car with only 47 miles, wow! 
Depending on your OCD level, I've been meaning to add something to the instructions that you may want to look at. When you put those finishing rings over the lens, they should butt up against the outer ring tightly, to the point where you don't see any gap at all -- your oil pressure/volt gauge looks perfect for example. But see the arrows below on your speedometer as example of where your finishing rings are bulging in and separating a little. When this happens, it means the little tabs are not seating fully in their slots. Sometimes the slots need to be cleaned out a little with a pick, but more often than not, the tab just didn't get seated and/or the tab has a tiny bit extra plastic preventing it from getting in the slot, which you can trim back with little electronics cutters (of fingernail clipper in a pinch). Some people don't notice or care, others (like me) obsess on getting the trim rings fully seated.

Added new needles using the original mandrels. Just need to trim them some. Clear with white backs, hoping to get a little glow out of them.
