Fantastic!!! Love the color combo. And, it's nice to see the yellow PCCBs actually installed. Won't be long now. :)

I still have umbrella guy. Once he appears do you remember how long it takes to receive the update? TIA

The last time that happened to me it took a couple of days I think.

I noticed on your picture and on my picture of the whole car, that the GTS sticker is missing at the bottom of the door? Do they put it after this and before they ship? Also, mine is missing the front black lip of the bottom of the front bumper. And it looks like yours is to.

Yeah, I wonder when they put that stuff on. I think I can make out the model designation on the back.
Maybe there's a decal stage that the cars go through after this.
They probably keep the front lip off for ground clearance until the end of production.

Will definitely be swapping out the orange side lights again. It looks so much better with the clear. Did that on prior 911s and the Taycan. I order them from Suncoast and do it myself. Pretty inexpensive.

With the Taycan I had to unscrew part of the wheel well cover but it still only took about 10 mins to swap out.

My dealership replaced the orange lights with clear ones without charge. I didn’t even have to ask.

I asked the dealer I got my prior 2020 911 from about swapping them out on that car and they wanted $350 for the parts + an hour of labor for something that costs $137 from Suncoast so I did it myself. I'd done it myself on prior 911s but wanted to see what they would say.

I expected them to do what your dealer did considering the $150k I was spending with them but no. They also tried to sell me a very heavily marked up pre-paid maintenance plan. I think it was over 3.5k for the first 3 years. I questioned them on it especially since Porsche includes the first service free now (so it was 3.5k for 2 services) and they tried to convince me it was still cheaper.
And no, it didn't include wheel and tire coverage or anything beyond regular scheduled maintenance.
I guess there's enough people who buy cars from them that just pay whatever they ask. I'm not like that.

Also, when I called them about ordering the GTS they said that I could order it and agree to pay whatever the market adjusted value of the car would be when it arrived, a price that they would set themselves. I told them I wasn't in the habit of writing blank checks :).
I found a different dealer to work with.

I'm pretty sure the current dealer would swap the orange lights free of charge but I actually like doing that finishing touch myself now.
I've already bought them. They've been sitting here in my home office for a while along with the EdGuards.

I also noticed that the front end is slightly higher. I think that they already put the spring blocks (for shipping) to roll in and out of the ship. Or our front lift is up.

I already ordered the clear front marker lights, got them at home waiting for the car. Lol

Maybe the installation is different on the Cayman but I watched the service technician replace the orange lights. It took somewhere between 30 and 60 seconds for both lights.🤔 I’m glad you found another dealer. The ADM is already egregious IMO but not disclosing the ADM before taking car delivery is total BS.🤯

Mine is going to Atlanta, GA via Jacksonville, FL.
Eric
Fingers crossed we both get on SIEM CONFUCIUS then. Hopefully we're in the same boat but in a good way by the end of the week.
Funny our cars will meet before we do. Lol

Eric
Looks like SIEM CONFUCIUS is getting ready to leave Emden. Fingers crossed our cars were put on there and we get an update to TYD soon reflecting that.

Let us know what happens. Hopefully, they will be on their way across the Atlantic. 🤞
