The bezel policy was implemented to make sure folks who contribute to Carpokes get their bezels before people who join CP just to get free stuff. As someone who has been there since the beginning of the bezel R&D, they aren’t just Cracker Jack prizes. Hundreds of hours of work have gone into the design and making of them. I can assure you that Tom’s decision to implement a triage policy was purely altruistic. I apologize, as a Carpokes moderator, if you are offended in any way.

First it was post a few comments...
Looks like someone could use a random act of kindness. PM me your address and I'll send you a cover with the batch I'm sending out tomorrow, and I'll comp the postage.

be careful leaving it in a hot car. PLA will start to defrom in a hot car, and can literally melt inside a really hot car.
Tom, these look great. How do you know these WONT melt parked in say a hot desert? I'm not familiar with the properties of the different materials.

The material is rated to 171.5F, and it is possible a car interior could get that hot or hotter. So... I conducted a highly scientific test: I disconnected the throttle and cruise control cables on my 944 turbo and hung a bunch of these bezels on the cables, then went for a very long spirited drive. I assumed the bezels over the exhaust would at least be warped, but every last one held its form. It's possible that they will somehow break down and not last if someone is regularly parking their new Porsche in the Phoenix sun

, but if it didn't melt or warp in the engine bay, I like our chances inside the cabin.

I didn't realize you had already tested it out. Amazing!
Now I just have to work my way up here and choose between red and gentian.
