My son is the proud caretaker of an ‘86 911 Targa. Anybody interested in a project car? How about a ‘71 Alfa GTV?
Hi Marc! From a fellow GT4 owner who agrees 100% as to how much fun they are to drive, welcome to Carpokes!

Welcome again to the three of you. Just wanted to mention that Carpokes is a VERY picture-friendly site and that we love photos of your cars, car palaces, etc. (Check out some of the specialty sub-forums and threads that have a lot of interesting posts and pics of all things car-related - races, garages, DIY info, diagnostic, shared experiences, travel, pets - you name it!)

Meanwhile, here is Tom's picture posting guide in case needed - no third-party hosting site necessary:

Hi Marc. Welcome to the group! ARRRRRRRGH! A Dino 246GTS! Another of my unfulfilled dreams in life! I could have acquired one back in the early 70s for a ridiculous price (by today's standards) but was at the time just a poor working prole in the snakeoil biz. Two of my 'dreamcars' alluded to above included the Dino and the Porsche 904, each of which bore a remarkable (if superficial) resemblance to each other. [The third in my personal alternate dimensional troika reality was the 550A.] However, due to the press of life's reality, I've learned to settle on the 914 series as my sole focus, now that I'm retired. I still regret having divested myself of a lovely '70 914/6 but now dote on a somewhat tamer but still mightily pleasing '74 914/4. I like to laugh about being 'an entry-level human with an entry level Porsche' but that's probably being a bit too self-effacing. At any rate, I am envious of your Dino. PS: The '86 911 Targa is a great little beast...your son obviously shares your good taste!

Welcome aboard Marc! Great collection of cars. No rules against showing them all off here. :) I've always been a fan of the 246. I mean, who isn't!!

First Porsche : 1979 911SC Targa. Have also had over the years, 1975 Carrera, two 914-6’s and a Speedster Replica.
I am a Realtor in Santa Clarita, CA.
Now looking for. 997.2 (209-2012) Carrera S or 4S, with low mileage, 5 speed, Cabriolet in either Red, Blue, Gray or White.
Welcome aboard Keith. Good luck on your search for the 997.2 -- maybe post a WTB in the 996/997 forum here on Carpokes.
