Hi, Thanks for having me. Names Phil
Live in NJ, Cherry Hill area, twenty minutes to center city Philly. Retired and loving it, very active cyclist. Road, gravel and MTB.
First Porsche.. the 2nd 944 in NJ, a 1982 Guards Red.. joined PCA, then later bought a grey market 911SC Targa. 1978, unfortunately as a daily driver I couldn’t count on it. Left me stranded a number of times, but wish I still had it. Number of cars in-between.. then a 2016 Macan S, in December bought my dream car, a 2022 992.1 C2S PTS Brewster Green, paldao wood, Carrera exclusive wheels w ARUM paint, MANUAL.
Current daily is an Audi Q8, wife drives a MB E450 coupe.
Again, THANKS!

Welcome aboard Phil! Love the spec on the 992!! The Aurum wheels really works with that green! If you have any more detail pics of the wood trim, please post. I've thought about it in the past but have been afraid to pull the trigger since I've never actually seen it in person.

Love the Arum wheels on your Porsche, they just look so right with the Brewster Green. Welcome and I know many of us really appreciate when folks post pics of their Sexy Stuttgart Sweethearts!

Gorgeous Carrera!! As I've mentioned many times on Carpokes, I have a weakness for dark greens and Brewster Green definitely fits the bill. (It's on my short list of PTS dark greens.)
Welcome to Carpokes! Glad to have you aboard.

Hello All, Thanks for making this forum possible. Name: Dave
Retired Dentist, first porsche 61 Karmann hardtop, 2nd owner since 1969. Long story but car is a concours winner after a 3 year total rehab. Condor Yellow. 2nd Porsche 67 912. Owned only by dentists (3). Then I decided to own a 911 so the highly optioned 83 SC was driven from Cleveland to California in October 2018. Car is a concours car. Then my interest went to an earlier 911, 74 Targa. A project still in the works. In 2020 a 993 became available in Cincinnati. That car is my favorite road trip auto. My wife wanted in on the Porsche addiction so a Porsche Racing green 997.2 was found just out of Chicago. Mid winter. No way to drive home so it was transported. Nice ride. I look forward to using the technical library as it develops. I am a Christian, an aviator, experimental aircraft builder (RV-4). I enjoy metal fabrication and welding. I complete all maintenance for the air-

Thanks for the kudos,
Wood trim is PALDAO, an asian wood. I really like it, it’s a not too flashy ‘real wood’. I’ll post a few more pics.

Welcome aboard Dave! First Porsche I ever sat in was a Signal Red Karmann hardtop! It was a hand-me-down to my friend Steve from his father. He restored it himself and was a frequent PCA show winner in the late 80s and 90s. He was in the SF Bay Area too, so wouldn't doubt it you ran into him back in the day.
