The hybrid will be introduced on the Turbo series and won't trickle down to the normal 911's for a while - I would guess until the next series is introduced. As far as going to the non aspirated engine - not going to happen. The 992.2 is not going to offer lesser numbers that the 992.1 and taking out the turbos would make the new generation slower than the outgoing generation. Porsche doesn't work that way.
Exactly. I am pretty sure the 992.2 will be much milder refresh than 991.2.

I was just in Germany, as part of a much larger trip, and visited both the Munich Central and the Olympic Park Porsche dealers. There was an amazing supply of new cars on the floor, some absolutely gorgeous 911’s among others. But all were already allocated to buyers and I was told they have the same “12-18” month wait for a new allocation as many of us are seeing.

I talked to several salesmen and received a remarkably consistent message about the 992.2 update - non-plug-in hybrid car very likely, not sure if in GT/ Turbo upper line or throughout all models; cosmetic changes to front and rear end with relocation of tailpipes; several (undefined) interior tweaks; aventurine green option going away (at least for EU); many new colors coming (again undefined. Regarding PDK shifter - most didn’t know but two guys said unequivocally it’s changed. Time will tell.

If this is half right I’m going to Vegas. 😀
