Hmm, the Android Auto GPS settings, are those set on the phone or in the PCM?

Wonder if CarPlay has the equivalent?

On the phone for me. Apps I add to the 'Launcher' get put on the car's AA apps screen.

Today my Porsche Nav got confused and showed my location as being about a full city block away from where I was. At one point it had me off-road and driving right through Houston City Hall, which might have met some resistance since it's inauguration day for our new mayor.

Anyway, I pressed the Home button, and G Maps displayed my correct location. That situation persisted through a couple restarts over about an hour.

So I'm reasonably confident that I can force AA to use my phone's GPS. WIN!

When Android Auto is running, then whatever app(s) you are using will appear on the PCM screen when you press the console button labeled Home. That is how it works for me with wired Android Auto. I'm not sure how else to clarify.
