Tom....this forum will not let me private message. Said I'm too new of a member! You said to email you? How do I do that? Where do I find your email address? I'd like to order a couple sets (or more) of the top plugs.
Thank you....Scott

Not sure what Bob used to paint it, but it looks like a darn good match for the surrounding material. Maybe he'll share. :) If anyone wants a set, PM or email me and I'm happy to print/send a set of unpainted blanks for $10 to cover shipping (in the US) and plastic. :)
I am interested in purchasing a set for my 2021 718 Spyder

Bob Z it’s Jeff Potter, my apology

I got Covid plus it took a lot out of me. I’m behind on responding to your email to pay you. Can you please resend your information to me?

Thank you

First post and a thread resurrection…I saw Bob Z mention this modification on 718Forum. Is there a link to the STL file? I’d like to print some for my incoming Spyder. Thank you!

Glad to have another Porsche forum to browse.

I was going to post about this as well since I have noticed that mine are warping, for lack of a better word...they are curling up at the ends. Is there a different material that could be used to print these?

There is. And a different process. Since printing yours, I've come to better understand how to print large flat surfaces like that, and have graduated to a much stronger plastic. That said, I'm wondering if the better approach would be to have them waterjet cut out of a flat piece of aluminum? I used to get pieces like that cut all the time by The Big Blue Saw, but I saw recently that they were bought by one of the big online machine shops. If there were enough interest, I could have my machine shop CNC cut a batch. Wild guess, but I'd say we need to cut at least 20 or 30 to make it worth while. Want me to check?

I have a resin printer. There are different types of resin depending on the application. For this application, I would probably try something like this https://siraya.tech/products/tenacious- ... ible-resin or other resin with high temperature deflection.
