@Tom, @Crazy Eddie will not be able to get his 4RS to feel like the SRS by changing the control box, because the Spyder uses less stiff springs.
I think the first thing to try, is to buy the SRS suspension (or maybe just the springs) and put it on the 4RS. I also bet the control boxes are identical (or maybe the SRS uses the older GT4 box).
I had a buddy tell me that if he were to replace the shocks and springs, I think the bill in parts alone was over $12,000, but I have to recheck that. Yeah I got further word that they thought the controller was at the key of this, but I tend to agree with you, Marin, I think the parts have to be changed out.

@Crazy Eddie I actually just bought a DSC last week to try to fix the bumpiness of my 4RS. ...from my butt dyno, it's not really improved.
If you want to try it, we could meet at
@Tom 's Carpokes headquarters. You can drive my 4RS up Fruitvale Ave while I drive your SRS up Fruitvale, for comparisons. Fruitvale is bumpy AF on the way up, and medium on the way down.

Is it possible to just replace the springs?

Fruitvale is my rattle-detection street....
There's also a mile-long loop in the hills on the other side of Highway 9 that makes Fruitvale seem like a hockey rink.

Haha. I'd probably lose my teeth in the 4RS trying that.

Let's figure out a time (we can text). This weekend could work if you want to do it soon.

They posted a firmware update. I am out of town today through the end of the weekend but will try when I return.

Curious how it goes - the procedure seems a bit odd after a quick glance.
Based on their comments, I don't have any need to upgrade so will probably not do it. Will wait for your report.

I know a good source for how this box is programmed. Check out MotoIQ.com for this. It will help you understand how it works and how to tune your car's reactions.

Pretty sure this is the particular article/guide you are referring to. A first glance indicates that it is an in-depth analysis and that the author knows a quite a lot about DSCs, how they work and setup options. Thanks for the lead.
