Tom, could you please give me more info on the parts that you used for your drain system?

I've installed one on a 951, using the adapter, tap and a 1/8"NPT plug. The coolant hasn't been drained again yet but the plan is to remove the plug and insert a barb. Looks as if it should stop the utter mess I got last time.
I've tried to install one on a 944 S2 but the frame around the radiator fouled the tap handle when I tried to put the tap on the end of the adapter, so will have to add a fitting to make that work (or remove the tap handle maybe).
I'd rather not have the hose connected directly then the tap just to avoid another leak point (hence the NPT plug as well).
It's an excellent idea to avoid the horrible plastic plug.

I just remove the lower radiator hose and keep a big bucket underneath. I dont mess with the radiator plug
