Engine starts but stalls after startng

Yes I tried adjusting till I would hear the stop but I didn’t get one. Even when I pulled it off it wasn’t clicking. This concerns me since he said everything reads out normal.

Even with a good TPS the DME/KLR may not be receiving the proper signals due to bad wiring. The TPS connector is a good place to examine (under rubber boot).

With a multimeter you can check TPS signals at the DME & KLR.

I finally received the TPS back from the vendor that he returned. He used slow mail and fully refunded my payment.

Great guy.

I installed the TPS and managed to adjust until I heard the click. No difference in the way it runs. I jumped the two terminals and it did run slightly better but still bad.

I’ll be doing the ISV test per Toms video later this morning and see how that goes.

I will also need to check for fuel,pressure but I’d don’t have a fuel pressure tester.

Anyone know if I can rent this? Maybe I can just get a fuel pressure gauge that mounts to the rail.

I stumbled on this little plastic box as I was taking my spare parts out. My old MAF. The harness got tangled up several years ago but I kept it. I put it on and BAM. Started like a champ.
Do t want to get too excited just yet since I do have to put everything back together.

I’ve never opened it. This was the first run of the Scivision MAF from the UK. The newer ones was a cleaner cable instead of the box.
