Goal: To retire sooner rather than later.

I do my own auto work. On these cars I've done more timing/balance belt changes than I care to remember. I did one clutch and head gasket, oil cooler, brakes, torque tube rebuild, fuel pump, vacuum hoses, A/C compressor, condenser change, expansion valve, switch repairs, electric window repairs, etc., etc........it never ends with these cars.

I need to drive them more, but office from the home. I need to sell one. Anyway, here I be.

Thanks for the welcome! My current advice is DO NOT attempt to remove the fuel strainer from the plastic gas tank. It doesn't end well. LOL The things we learn the hard way. I hope that helps someone. Anyway, looks like a good place to visit.

I am Fabrice and a very long time Porsche fan. I live in SF Bay Area and retired mid 2024 after 30+ years as a software engineer. My current car is a 992.1 T in Chalk and I got before that a 2021 Taycan 4S in Neptune Blue, a 2019 991.2 T in GT Silver and a 2017 991.2 base in White.

I am also a PCA Diablo member and enjoying driving my car on tours.

Greetings and welcome aboard from the Loma Prieta Region! Diablo seems like a strong region with lots of activities. More often than not, I make my way over the the Danville show in the summer...

Whiggins ( Bill ) welcome from a neighbor just a few miles North and another owner of a Macan S and a Cayster GTS - well we do have a fairly similar Porsche Familie! Just North of Omaha so may see you at a PCA event or DE!
