Fabrice ,
Welcome and I know you will enjoy this Forum and there are too many NorCal, SoCal and Slo-Cal members on here to count so you may find even more cruises in your future.
By the way, what a great color choice on your Porsche , and the fact that my Cayman is the same color has no bearing on my compliment , ha!

Hello fellow Porsche enthusiasts. I live in Carmel, CA and just bought my first Porsche in almost 40 years … 2025 frozen blue metallic Taycan. Also have a 1992 Alfa Spider Veloce, all original with 15k miles, 2023 Tesla Y and 2018 Tesla 3. Don’t hafta like Elon to love EVs!
Cheers,
Scott

Welcome aboard Scott! How does the Taycan compare to the Teslas? My neighbor went from a Telsa to a Taycan and says he will never go back.

85 Targa and Swggolf,
Welcome and there is a high concentration of Carpokes in California , so you may be meeting some members at events you go to. Now both of you need to post pictures of you German Go Karts and glad you found us!
Scott,
My wife and I were in Carmel last year ( stayed at the Tickle Pink Inn ) and it was cool to see so many Taycans in one area.I did not seeing any in your color choice so do drop a pic in your Model area or here.
Heh, 85 , a picture of your topless mistress would be great as you just left us with a teaser in your moniker, ha,ha!

Hello, fellow Porschephiles!
I’ve been a Porsche fan since I was about 8 years old (in 1979). My room was always plastered with Porsche posters and clippings - mostly of 911 Turbos of the day. I always wanted a 911, and I almost bought a 911 SC in 2006 for $15K, but I decided I needed to wait just a few more years.

Of course, prices skyrocketed in those years and I didn’t get a Porsche until I bought a 996 in 2017.
I loved that car but decided I wanted something a little newer with fewer miles in 2023, and I love a convertible so I sold the 996 and got my Boxster. Loving it too, but I do occasionally miss the extra oomph of the 996, or the ability to toss a jacket into the back seat.
I work from home as a Business Process Expert, contracting for the USDA. I love to hit the curves on my own or with the Oregon Region PCA. I don’t work on my own cars much - just simple things. I guess I got tired of working on cars when my first car was an MGB.
Glad to be here!
