Kurt, welcome to CarpokesK Tief wrote: Tue Apr 29, 2025 8:12 am Kurt from Connecticut. Always drove sports sedans, all the Germans and most recently three Lexus GS's which were great cars, very reliable if not exciting. Now I have a 2023 Macan S. I can say that this is the best car I have ever owned. Have a two car garage and that limits the number of cars I own so the Macan makes sense from a practical point. Need to retire, move, and get a three car garage. My family owns three 911s.

G'day everyone from Australia!
Name: Brett Redman
Location: Sydney Australia
Current fun cars: '23 Cayman GTS manual in Gentian Blue
Occupation: IT business owner in the Contact Centre space - Call Design
First Porsche: '23 Cayman GTS
I have owned multiple BMW M Cars (M3's and most recently a couple of M2's - all manual), a few Audi S cars, and lots of other things ..... including multiple motorcycles (current day ride is a Ducati Multistrada V4S). This is my first Porsche and I absolutely LOVE it... I thought it would be good, but cannot believe how much better it is than the BMW's and Audi's (and other stuff) I have owned. They all felt like very good cars, but a collection of parts bolted together... the Porsche feels like it was carved from a solid block of something!

@redmanb4
Love the sentiments Brett! You're going to have fun in your GTS - the 718s are so magnificently well-balanced and nimble. Your Cayman will be a pleasure to drive every time you get behind the wheel.
Post some pics!
And by the way, welcome to Carpokes!!
