Hello, I am new to Porsche ownership and this forum. I look forward to learning. I have a 2021 Macan. Love it. Have always admired Porsche from afar but was never practical. Now that I am retired and no longer have the need for a truck, here I am.
Regards

Hi John,
Thanks for joining Carpokes and welcome aboard. I’ve always been a fan of the Shelby Cobras and Mustangs. My current DD is a Cayman GTS. You have good taste in cars!

@Nogmann ,Welcome to CARPOKES. Care to fill us in on your 944? There are all levels of 944 owners from beginners to restorers to those that have highly modified cars.
There are also several people who have extensive engine backgrounds should that be of interest to you.
Thank you for joining, always glad to have another transaxle owner on board.

Hi everyone,

Came across this group while hunting down the famous carpokes timing belt tensioning tool and decided it was time to finally make an account - just got my first Porsche, a 1987 944.

Name: Rick
Location: Southern California
Current Cars: 1987 944, 1965 Mustang
Industry: Automotive

Looking forward to learning from this group and getting the 944 dialed in.

Welcome to CARPOKES. There are several websites with lots of information on 944's. A very informative one for working on your new acquisition is Clarks Garage started by a 944 enthusiast who has since passed but the website is still active. https://www.clarks-garage.com/
There are also lots on members in the 944 and transaxle group who have restored and revived their cars, so lots or experience on the boards.
Thank you for joining.
