Exactly and these guys are really technical so likely will write more articles that we can make use of. I ran around and looked at how much timing my car is pulling. I also tried to find that Race-Gas local but could not.

I used Race Gas many years ago in a track-only race car - it worked well but was a bit of hassle to use. It wasn't cheap then and I imagine it's considerably pricier now. I ordered it directly from their website: https://race-gas.com/

Like I said, I haven't used Race-Gas in years and I just now noticed that there are changes in packaging and formulas. Fortunately, we have 93 pump gas here in the South so I'm fine with that.

I use racing fuel on most of my track cars but only because it is a little tough to find 93 Octane in Nebraska. When I had a 2013 Boss 302S Mustang ( #18 of 50 factory built race cars ) I often filled with 100 octane, but when I got a Mach 1 I ran 93 when available and often it was a case of blending 91 with some race fuel. Most of the high performance vehicles today get their optimum HP at 93 , so either using that or doing a blend is a one way to achieve the desired octane.. At that price one might find using Race-Gas to be a very viable alternative, as spending 30-40 dollars to blend racing fuel with 91 octane ends up being about the same price - most tracks or stations with racing fuel are over $10 a gallon.

I have used NOS Octane boost in years past on the recommendation of a Ford Engineer who said he had found it was a pretty solid product to increase the Octane. His comment , to me, was if the Octane Booster is relatively cheap you likely are getting what you pay for.

Thanks for the post on Race-Gas as I had forgotten about that and it could be an alternative for tracks without racing fuel on site or nearby.

The license plate frame, personalized period plate and the vintage date sticker already made my day!

Speaking of wine, we made a similar run to the winery about 150 miles rt. I always love how 2 cases slide in the front so perfectly, with room to spare. It can't be a coincidence.

We drove over to the Ocala area Friday to have dinner and visit a Clydesdale horse farm. Big f'n poop machines..... Yesterday we went to Silver Springs for a glass bottom boat ride. All part of a little outing with Space Coast Region.

Cleaned inside and out in preparation for winter storage. As part of the cleaning I was struggling to get a crusty black residue off of the exhaust tips. I resorted to Dawn Powerwash and everything came off and the exhaust tips now look like new again.
Car is now covered and on battery maintainer until April. No later than April hopefully.
