Hi my name is Godfrey I’m a retired MD aged 80 and a long term Porsche owner and driver.
My wife, Samme and l are members of the Porsche Club Victoria here in Melbourne Australia.
We are on our 10th & 11th , my Panamera S V8 and her Diesel Cayenne S V8. Love V8’s.
As you get older you may have more difficulty getting out but don’t give up

Hi Guys,

I found this place by accident watching the YouTube video about changing chrono watch rings.
The guy had exactly like my car color and then ring from Tom matched perfectly. I am still trying to figure out how to order the Mamba Green one.
Yesterday I bought my first Porsche at 49

Its 2023 Taycan 4S in Mamba Green. Beautiful machine. Started modding already.
Looks like a great place here with lots of knowledge. Now just need to find out how to order those rings

Godfrey, Samme and Philly , welcome to you all and it is so great we are getting members from all over the globe.

Special shout out to you and Samme, Godfrey, you will find that there are quite a few of us on the site in our 60s, 70s and 80s, and Porsche may be part of what keeps us young, ha!

Philly , interesting to note you just got your Taycan and are planning on your mods already. I am sure many would be interested to hear what you plan to do and I do understand since I tend to mod everything -- some just with cosmetic accessories, but more often performance upgrades.

I imagine that some of your group made it to Harper Porsche's Plática at the old quarry near Chattanooga two weeks ago featuring a gathering of eighteen (18) Carrera GTs.

A few Smokies GT members did make it to Harper's Plática. More would have done so but it was only a week after our main 10th anniversary spring event.
