Mighty impressed with the GT4’s abilities out of the box but I’ve modified the suspension slightly to make it more track focused. It’s a hoot !
Welcome to Carpokes Rob !

Welcome aboard! The GT4 is going to be a classic -- it has everything a pure sports car should!

Hi I'm Bob from Pittsfield NH

Fell in love with Porsches in 1971 after watching Steve McQueens film LeMans.
Bought my first one in '86, a 74 914 2.0, the engine of which now resides in my 1971 914.
Retired and loving it!

Current vehicles are
71 914 restored in 2019
89 Carerra 4 retirement gift from my family in 2002
2019 BMW X3 M40

Welcome Rob and always glad to have another track rat on Carpokes. Now if for some reason you are going to get some asphalt appreciation time soon in Area 27, photos and videos will be ooo'd and awed --- yes, many of us will be envious!

Fun roads we have. My favorite is the Kancamagus Highway in the White Mts.

Funny you mention Area27 as I was just there with the GT4 and my son. Great track and with my son as passenger, he gets to experience something I can’t give him with my race car.

Hello Tom and all other members as well!

I'd like to introduce myself as a new member. My name is Dave, I'm recently retired and have been searching for the perfect Porsche to spend some quality time with. I've previously owned an 85' 944 (first Porsche, loved it!), 99' 996, and 02' Boxster, but have been Porscheless for almost 20 years! I love the way those older cars seemed to put the driver in direct communication with the road, the feedback was intoxicating. I'm hoping this forum can help me determine the best fit for my next car. I'm currently considering a 997 or 991, I like the power and styling of those models but wonder if they will give me the driving experience I enjoyed with my past cars? I welcome any feedback and/or suggestions anyone may have. Looking forward to being a Carpoke!!

Thanks everyone.

DaveK
