Nothing to hate....beautiful car and I LOVE those wheels. I'd think an EV would be quite appropriate in Hawaii, a natural fit for what I imagine typical usage would be like.

(Thank you Google Translate)

Hello fellow Porsche people.
I'm Kelly a PCA club racer and wannabe car collector. (Currently holding several 986.1).
Currently selling a competitive SPB and building several other cars...
A lifetime Porsche person. 356 driver originally, then a 911 - then sold them to go racing. Crazy I know.

Hoping this site grows into a useful resource for us all - I'll add what I can and learn from each of you I am sure. Thanks.

Welcome and thank you for the show of support Kelly. The goal is for us diehards to take back the forums and run them the way they used to be, before big media companies bought them all up. :) Would it date me if I told you the first Porsche I ever rode in was a Signal Red 356 Karman Hardtop? Back in the 80's (maybe 70's) my good friend got it from his dad as a hand-me-down, and went to town restoring it to better than new on a shoe-string budget. I think the paint job -- which won many trophies was, something like $700.... If memory serves, Jerry Woods rebuilt the motor for not much more....

Hey everyone,

Just checking in to say hi, I've been restoring a Porsche 924 N/A, it's the biggest automotive project I've undertaken so far. I've been in love with 924's since I saw my uncles Carrera as a kid before he crashed it.

6 months in, tonnes of progress and still a long way to go, but I'm still having a lot of fun. I'm based in Ireland and I've had some trouble sourcing parts, I appreciate any help or advice!

So far:
New plugs & leads
New starter motor
Replaced radiator
Flushed kjet
Full service inc. belts and pullies
Electric windows now unstuck
Currently troubleshooting electrical gremlins

Looking forward to getting this thing road legal and meeting you guys out in the road!

Welcome! Post some photos of your car when you get a chance

Also…electrical gremlins are the worst, but at least you can learn a lot in the troubleshooting process
