@Cosine_
SOUNDS VERY FAMILIAR.
I did something similar with my 89 951. Bought it when I lived in SoCal in 04, then moved to Nashville in 06, then sat pretty much unused from 06 to 22 waiting until my son was done with college. I retired and put some $ into refreshing and a repaint. Now it gets some use, but not quite where I want it to be.

Hi All,
Im a new owner but I’ve always loved the 944, mine is the model year of my junior year of high school. It’s been a blast so far. So many things to fix and learn about. I’m only slightly embarrassed to report my first big job was 11 hours over 2 days, alone under ramps (but with a suportive family). Engine mounts, what a trip. The vibration was unbelievable. I can’t believe the difference. The right one came out in 2 pieces. Loved almost every minute of it. What a car. I hope I can contribute. Thanks all.

Welcome aboard. Which mounts did you use? We recently had a discussion here whether the aftermarket ones have improved over the years...

I used the Meyle mounts due to cost. I really don't want to tackle that project every 2-3 years so may spring for the OEM mounts next time. That said, I'm pretty sure I could cut the time to do the job in half. I'm keeping tabs on most everything I do to the car (it's a project for sure) so I should have data in the coming years.

Hi All
My name is Mark, I tune cars most of the time, I was referred here by another member. I do use Tuner pro and have used other stuff over the years, checking in to see what advances have been made for the 944 turbo def files?
I always have too many of my own project cars going on to mention.
thanks
