My name is Mark, I tune cars most of the time, I was referred here by another member. I do use Tuner pro and have used other stuff over the years, checking in to see what advances have been made for the 944 turbo def files?
I always have too many of my own project cars going on to mention.
thanks
Hi Mark, welcome aboard. I'm actually updating the XDF files right now to show dwell times in milliseconds. Should have v3 up in the next day or so. We have most of the significant maps included in our XDF already -- I think the most comprehensive available online. And!... we also posted the Holy Grail of XDF info for the 951 here with every map, map location, and xdf pointer location on the chip. I've opted not to include all the obscure maps in the XDF so as not to overwhelm folks, but with the full list you can add whatever you need to the XDF... Glad to have you here at the 944 chip-tuning epicenter. :)

Hi everyone!
This is Tony, I registered in May of this year, but I'm just getting around to the new member check-in. My first Porsche was a 1966 911, which I purchased in Germany in 1968. This was followed by a 1970 911T Targa, a 1973 911E, a 1978 911S and a 1980 911SC Weissach. All of these were purchased new, with the exception of the 1966 911) and each was traded in on the next one. I still have the 1980 911 Weissach. I also have a 2014 Carrera 4, a 2022 Cayenne S and a 2022 Panamera 4. I have owned Porsches for 57 years. I also have three Jaguars, a 1954 XK-120 SE OTS, a 1964 3.8S sedan and a 1967 340 sedan, plus a 1974 Norton 750 Combat.

My other interests are aviation (since 1974) - I have a private pilot certificate with instrument and multi-engine endorsements, but lost my medical certification 5 years ago and sold the airplanes. I am a certified scuba diver since 1990, but had to stop diving because of a medical condition. I am also a licensed radio amatuer.

I have attached a picture of the 1980 911SC Weissach and the 2014 Carrera 4.

Howdy Folks,
I am John in southern Arizona, I have just joined this group. I have a 2008 997.1 911, basic model of fun. I also drive a '52 Chevy truck with a V8, '87 300SDL and a 2014 F250 to haul my horse around. I love to fish the streams and rivers of the America and the world. Last July I caught Ol' Doug a 31" 24lb with a 25" girth brown trout on the San Juan river in New Mexico, it is a fish of a lifetime for me on a 4wt rod with 4X tippet and a barbless #22 hook. I look forward to tootleling around and meeting members of the PCA, if we run into each other ask me about Ol' Doug. I rode 2 wheeled beemers for years and no longer have a bike. Thanks for having this forum for us to enjoy!

That is one heck of a trout! Can't beat the outdoors in my book, so it's good to hear of your enjoyment of that special part of our world. (I could use more of that.)

Your collection of wheeled machines is good too - the 997 and the '52 Chevy in particular are intriguing in my mind.

Glad you found the forum, so a big welcome to Carpokes!
