So my car got dropped off in Jacksonville yesterday and the boat already left. How long before it gets to Hennessy in Atlanta, GA.? My app is not updating, it is still saying that my car is in the vessel, but obviously is not. Does it ever get updated? I heard stories of the car just appearing at the dealership.

I have heard, and previously experienced, all of the same stories. It all depends on Jacksonville processing and trucker delays / backlogs from this point. There is honestly no way for you or your SA to predict. Your SA will have the most up-to-date info at this point. Your SA will be notified when your car is "released for transport" and when it is actually picked-up by the trucker and "exits the port." Your dealership will also be Invoiced for the car when it exits Jacksonville.

Congrats on the accounting test! I was accountant before the days of personal computers, so I used actual accounting ledgers back then. I wonder if they even teach about those anymore?

Re the car, one thing they do (did in the past anyway) is check the car for scratches and damage at the port. At least in southern Cal, they do touch up work at the port if needed. At least until recently, he longer the wait, the stronger the presumption that they were fixing something. These days, with all the worker shortages and general chaos, I wouldn't have the same presumption anymore necessarily. Fingers crossed it sails right through the port.

Also, and PLEASE don't feel any pressure, but I think there is a way for you to livestream your pick-up to Carpokes if you wanted. I just tested and confirmed that a youtube link on carpokes will play a livestream as an embedded youtube within a post. So, if you have have or make a youtube channel, you could go live on it, and share your car pick-up live here. Normally, you need 1000 subscribers to go live on youtube, but there are several apps that let you avoid that, including PRISM Live Studio (and others). See video below. That said, picking up a car can be a bit chaotic on its own without trying to livestream too, so I'd totally get it if it's too much to manage all at once. You could always do a little video and post that when things calm down too.

They do not teach about ledgers, the only thing close is for the the balance sheets.

I will try the livestream, and if I cannot get it, I will definitely be doing a video that I will post on here.
