Good Morning All,

I found Carpokes from the 718 forum as I was searching for a better solution for mounting my rear license plate! Happy to report that the product works even better than advertised!

Name: Buddhi
Location: Atlanta, GA
Current fun cars: '24 GTS 4.0, '11 BMW 1M, '15 VW Beetle (Don't laugh! It's my wife's 5-speed and she adores it!)

First Porsche: The 718 is the first I bought. First real experience was driving my Mother-in-law's '89 964 C4 in Germany.

First time I got hooked: When I saw a 930 Turbo on one of those British top trumps trading cards. It was love at first sight and that silhouette never really left my mind. I took a very long detour into Audi and BMW before finding my way to Porsche, but the journey was ultimately very rewarding.

Any photos of the 718? I bought my first Porsche, a GT Silver 718, in 2021. It’s a great car!

More excellent photos of your 718 Cayman - nice!

The northern areas of Georgia are full of great driving roads as your photos depict, much like many areas in my home state of Tennessee. We are fortunate! :thumbup:

Thanks! If I'm being honest, I am slightly envious of Tennessee. You have the Skyway and the Dragon (among others!)

@minsk
Welcome....nice to see a 924. We all have issues, most anything of that age will have issues, but the path to a great vehicle starts with a great body, and no rust qualifies as a great body....looks straight and clean!
Thank you for joining!

I'm late to the party, but very impressed with the quality of the website and the members questions and informative replies, glad the "flame-throwers" are left at the "door".

I've been a member of PCA since 1986, joined with a 1979 SC, casablanca beige metallic, cork interior. Became immediately involved with autocross which led me to instructing to Club Racing. I currently own a 1980 SC, Weissach edition.
