Joined today. 1999 911 Carrera. Vesuvio Gray Metallic. Grey all-leather interior. My first and likely last Porsche. Best handling car that I've ever owned - period.

I'm glad to find a Porsche-centric forum that hopefully is not as toxic as R/L can get at times.

Hi - I’m relatively new here… I’ll stick with my nom de plum - Ringo - for now. Living and working in Austin, TX.

2022 Taycan 4S in white. My first Porsche… my only regret is that it took me this long. I’m pretty committed to EVs now, so I’m grateful Porsche made this one as great as it is.

Wanted a Boxster back in 2010 when we first moved to Texas, but a friend told me it was too flashy for my conservative law firm (and would make the partners think I was overpaid). Well, now I’m the partner so I drive a Porsche and make no apologies for it.

Nice to “meet” you all.

- RD

Spotted this new (to me) forum in Panorama. Member of the Maverick Region of PCA - a very active group in the Dallas area.

I get this driving decision each morning!

Absolutely -- a very warm welcome to all! We're small still, but mighty. :) Our growth rate has been picking up lately as the word gets out to more and more people about our kinder, gentler Porsche forum.  :D

Hi, all! Just joined. Have a 1981 SC Coupe in Wine Red Metallic, purchased 20 years and one month ago - at my wife’s urging! Yes, I’m happily married. Retired, 71, cancer-beater, seven grandkids, and the SC is my daily driver. Life is good. PS - Looking for a well cared for and well-priced Cayenne GTS (automatic) to add to the stable. That’s my story. Glad to be here.

I don’t think I’m familiar with Wine Red but sounds very nice. Can you post some photos? What is the interior color?
