Welcome aboard! That's quite a collection --still have them all or is that a lifetime list? Favorite?

Those are my current cars. Had a lot of 911s since my first in 1990. I’ve loved them all.

Hey everyone,

I’ve got a 1986 Porsche 944 Turbo that’s been a project for the past three to four years. It’s been quite the learning curve and fun challenge to modernize the setup in hopes to make it a thrill to drive but also reliable.

Last summer I installed a Microsquirt standalone ECU and had it professionally tuned. It’s currently set up to run 16 psi on the original turbo.

Current engine setup:
3 bar fuel pressure regulator
80 lb injectors
IGN1A smart coils
Electronic boost controller
Dual-port Tial 38mm wastegate
Dual-port blow-off valve
3” custom downpipe and full exhaust
Wideband O2 sensor
New vacuum lines and new fuel lines
New spal radiator fans
Solide state DME and Radiator fan relays

I also have a Vitesse Racing turbo that I bought a few years back and never got around to installing. The plan is to install it now and go through some big maintenance.

At the end of last summer, the car developed a coolant leak at the head gasket seam — right at the head-to-block interface near the spark plug side. The car is not overheating, oil and coolant are not mixing, but I am losing coolant externally at that seam. So it’s time to open it up and address it properly.

The plan right now is:
Head gasket
Timing belt
Balance shaft belt
Water pump
Front engine reseal as needed
Oil cooler reseal and later style OPRV update

Opened to input for the while I’m in there for the head gasket and belts, what seals and gaskets do you guys strongly recommend doing at the same time on a 951?

I am also looking to go with a COP (coil on plug) setup, so if anyone could share the COP 3D file for the brackets to hold them in place that would be greatly appreciated.
