Hi, I joined last week. This looks like a great site! I've been restoring 951's since 2003. My current resto is an '87 951. The stable also includes a 1986 951.

Having done one 951 (Beautiful) and now working on a second, I'm certain you've run across and overcome numerous issues.
I look forward to your contributions to the brain trust of the other scribes who visit these pages. I'm always humbled by how far owners have improved upon the as purchased condition to the shining examples of what these cars are all about.
I'm grateful you found CARPOKES and thank you for joining.

Hello!

Mt name is Tommy and I'm here in the PNW, USA.

Started my forum use in the late 90's in the Bay Area California, when I dailied a 73.5 911T in high school. First signed up for the Early 911 S regestry. Back then, EASY and Pelican parts bins were my life back then.

Now have 2 kids, a 911, a 60's racecar and a classic bug.

Life is fantastic. Cheers to the lifers!

-Tommy

Hi David! A huge thanks for your daily newsletter which I've been receiving for a long time!

Awesome coverage and a great learning source for me regarding the many different Porsches out there. It's a mainstay of my morning reads.
