Chiming in to report my covers arrived and look phenomenal! I almost hate to post the obligatory picture as I don't think it accurately reflects how close Tom's powder coating is to the surrounding area. Thanks, gents, for the work put in to bring these to fruition....

Thanks, that does look close. I'm sure there is a powder out there that matches the surrounding area perfectly, but it's hard to know without trying them. Of the black powders I happen to have, this was the closest for sure -- not a perfect match, but in the right ballpark anyway. Need to powder coat more of them, but still have quite a few left over if anyone wants a set.

The photo doesn't really show it as good as it is -- it's nearly an identical match. I'm sure in certain light, it will not look exact, but you did really good on the color of these!

See post #245 in this thread on how to order. I have plenty of the covers left, but need to powder coat another batch. I'll do that as soon as I can, but have had my hands full at Carpokes Headquarters the last few days with this. Free tree trimming.Sox wrote: Tue Mar 14, 2023 8:50 pm Tom I signed up for the black anadized but would like a set of the powder coated ones.
How can I get and pay you?
Thanks!

Happy to report I was able to get more of these covers powder coated. I'lltry to get PayPal invoices out to those who are waiting, but if you don't see an invoice and want a set, please let me know. Thanks, Tom
By the way, I have 7 or 8 sets left, total, with no particular plans to order more. (Not ruling it out, but would need a pre-paid group buy most likely.) So now is your chance.

Thanks for the update. I still have maybe a dozen sets that I need to powder coat. First come, first serve, until they're gone forever

Still waiting? Did you ever place an order? Please see post #245 in this thread for instructions on how to order. I no longer have raw versions available, but do still have a few powder coated (my recommendation) and the black anodized.
