Welcome aboard Pete! My first ride in a Porsche was in a 356 Karman Hardtop, followed by a very early '76 Turbo Carrera. Both left a lifelong impression. Very happy to see more 356's on Carpokes!!356 Pete wrote: Mon Aug 22, 2022 9:26 am Greetings!

Use to time trial and auto cross the “6” but now it is just a good driver at the lake. It will be my son’s car in the future.

Welcome to Carpokes! 48 years may be a Carpokes record! The PCA was only 19 years old in 1974. Absolutely love your 914-6 -- is that a factory color?9146mac wrote: Mon Aug 29, 2022 11:53 am New member - Mac

It is a factory color. The car was an SCCA C production race car owned by Pete Zimmerman at Redline in Los Angeles. When he was done racing ( and never in an accident) the car was stripped down and repainted in pieces below reassembly. It has a 2.5 motor, short airport gears, 911S alloy calipers and a heavier suspension. It is basically a fast skate board. I had a 1972 914 that I sold in 1973 and picked this car up in the afternoon. I have the entire history/record of the car.
Thanks for asking.

I just joined today and am looking forward to interaction with other Porsche enthusiasts. we own a 2009 997.2 911 Carrera S Cabriolet and love everything about it. We have put 105,000 miles on it and we believe these cars are made to be driven and we adhere to that philosophy.

Welcome to Carpokes! Your car looks great and I love the wheels. Are they retro-fuchs of some kind?Gbro wrote: Fri Sep 02, 2022 7:38 pm I just joined today and am looking forward to interaction with other Porsche enthusiasts. we own a 2009 997.2 911 Carrera S Cabriolet and love everything about it. Thanks. Yes they are repro Fuchs out of Canada. Have had them for a while and very happy with them. I just think 911 s just look proper with the wheels. This picture was taken at Pebble Beach a couple of weeks ago at the Monterey Car Week and works Reunion.
