WOW, nice collection of current drives, particularly the 968 CS!
The Alpina B10 V8 must be interesting on the autobahn, somewhat relaxing I'd imagine.
There is a strong group of transaxle members and I'm sure you will find some interesting posts.
Glad you found CARPOKES and thank you for joining!
The 968 CS is the correct C00 "German" specification with hard back seats, manual windows, and M030. The only compromise for comfort is klima which is necessary because it is black! It's not so fun to get in or out but once you are in the seat it's a wonderful drive.

The Alpina is an absolute dream on the autobahn. My biggest complaint is the small 70L fuel tank. I can't make it from Stuttgart to Munich and back without fueling.

A true 968 CS!!
Please feel free to post some photos (engine/interior, overall side shot) if you don't mind as I believe the Transaxle crowd (and others) here would enjoy them.

Ok Rob, here are a few photos. Interestingly, my car came with a strut brace and notched fuel rail cover that are from Porsche Motorsport. I've tried to find the factory documentation, but I'm not sure that it exists any longer. You can definitely feel the effects though.

Most of the photos I have are oversized, I'll try to make them smaller and repost. Would it be worth starting a new thread to document all of the 968 CS specifics?

What great photos as well as seeing your fantastic 968CS! The Alps somewhere - gorgeous!

And yes Axel, definitely would be worth starting a new, separate topic in the Transaxle > 944S, 944S2 & 968 sub-forum! Documentation, pics, stories, and more would all be greatly welcomed! :thumbup:

@AxlMcCln
Great shots and also nice to see it dynamically in its natural habitat!
I agree with Blueline as well for additions to the 944S, 944S2, and 968 subforum!
Thank you!
