Here is a “little” update. Slowly making progress in between other projects.

Next step is to install the 24k BTU mini split A/C.

I love my garage mini-split - put it in 6 or 7 years ago. Heaven! I cannot imagine walking into a 95°+ garage ever again.

It's looking great Lee - your high ceilings are awesome - and the wainscoting is fantastic and functional too. I guess the slats will allow for nearly unlimited hanging configurations, correct?

PS - nice drywall work!

The mini-split will be good to have although so far this summer, the max temp I have measured is around 82 deg. F. Humidity control will be a plus.
The slat panel goes almost all the way around and will let me add/adjust as needed. I got it for a really good price.
Thank you for the dry wall compliment. It is my first large job and I surprised myself with how smooth the wall joints turned out. I studied a guy on YouTube for a while and purchased professional grade tools, which I think makes a huge difference. That was the south wall in the pictures. I will probably do the west wall next.

This is the picture of the south wall east side finished. I had intended posting this but chose the picture with the wall in primer.
