Now that Checho has checked out I am hoping he shows up somewhere else in the Racing World ---like WEC, IMSA, etc.

I would have to believe that Liam will be watched intensely and I have a feeling there could be another shake up in 2025 if he does not deliver fairly quickly.

Isack Hadjar promoted to Vcarb to backfill Liam .

Horner said Hadjar was quicker than Yuki at the Abu Dhabi test . That's pretty impressive based on their experience differences .

From Autoweek:

"Contract Lengths for Every F1 Circuit Following Latest News from Spa"

"Here's a quick look at who's on the 2025 Formula 1 schedule, how long those contracts for each circuit run, and which venues could be candidates to fall off the schedule."

https://www.autoweek.com/racing/formula ... d568259d8a

I counted 24 tracks - that's a lot of venues.

Colapinto has signed with Alpine as their reserve driver . Briatore for whatever reason isn't excited about Jack Doohan as a driver . If the rumors are trus Doohans contract is only guaranteed for the first five races .

If that is true AND if he doesn't perform well in those 5 races don't be surprised if he gets the hook . It would be unfair but F1 is a cut throat business . South America is a huge F1 fan base and they are pulling for Colapinto . I hope Doohan does well .

I think the downgrading of Spa is sad and it will ultimately go just like Germany is no more. Liberty want big showy tracks and all kinds of Suoerbowl type surrounding shows and hype, “human interest “ coverage of drivers and their girlfriends, lots of glamour and so on.

I have driven Spa a number of times in Porsches . It is a magnificent track but it is a rural location and not glamorous. Best track on the circuit.

I'm surprised that more auto races in Europe haven't gone the way of Germany. Auto racing just seems to not be compatible with current EU thinking.

That was pretty hard for me to watch.
I fast forwarded through most of it, just stopping when the cars were actually shown.

Huge Ferrari fan (have been since a kid in the '70's). Not a fan of the large HP advertising on the car though.... but money talks.

Cheers
