I instantly thought I have a solution for this silly problem... let me email Tom.
Today I received a solution from Tom and now my License Plate is mounted in a much nicer way. So Satisfying.

My GT4 was from pre-Carpokian days so Tom's mounts came later. Even so, their time on the car is now approaching 4-years and they still are as good as the day I installed them. (Wow, does time ever fly!)
PS: I wonder what the daily count is across North America for fallen out license plate screws lodged in tires...
