I couldn't agree more. It actually makes the wait process part of the "experience". I miss logging in track your dreams in anticipation of my 911

I quite agree with Porsche4Live because with all the inaccuracies, emailed delays or even emailed early notices, it was an interesting and fun process for me. I printed off all the various changes as it was shipped across the seas and copied pics of the Transport Ship. Along with the Porsche TYD emails, it made for a fun booklet of data for my Cayman GTS and it may be useful to someone in future years that the process was documented. Just wish I had gotten some pics from Porsche on the build , but no such luck for the Osnabruck build.

Over the past 3 years I’ve ordered 3 new 911’s.
For each vehicle I received just 2 assembly pictures - out of the 4 views potentially available.
The current vehicle is the only one where I received a picture of the car fully assembled

I received 3 of 4, thankfully the “fully assembled” pic was one of them.

P_Coastal,
Was your car built in Zuffenhausen or Osnabruck and what year is it? Just curious, as I was told later my issue of no pictures was due to the move to Osnabruck an the fact that it seemed to be fast tracking prior to the big shutdown in July/August for the standard shutdown for vacation time in Germany

Mine is a 2023, Zuffenhausen Build (March 2023).

That seems to be the key, though I will state my Osnabruck build was perfect and since my son, Ryan Pemberton, was my Salesman at Porsche of Omaha he knows how anal his Dad is and it was checked over with a fine toothed comb. I know I was a bit confused, at first, that it was not to be built in the Stuttgart suburb, but after chatting with others and getting my GTS, I can state Osnabruck does a stellar job also --- except no pics, ha!

She was supposed to be at the dealership by Feb 22 - I got a call from my dealership yesterday saying "Hey, our system shows your car should be at the dealership tomorrow, a little early!"
BUT, then said something along the lines of "But, we don't know for sure since there was a customs issue with some Porsches, so we won't know until it physically gets here"...
Since the 718's were not affected by the customs issue, I am hoping for a call today to see if it made it to the dealership early!

Good karma prevails (hopefully

) so I'm betting it will be there tomorrow as they said!
