Wow! I really admire OP's engineering skills, tenacity, and ingenuity. Me? I bought a couple of 928-613-313-00-01C; one for the S2 with a kinda "floppy" wiper handle, and another spare for the 951. I got them in 2023 from Pelican Parts. I just checked a few Porsche dealers (and Pelican) and they are now discontinued. They were definitely spendy at the time, but "a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush" so I'm happy to have them

Heres my first attempt at this. Its not complete but I think itll definitely help someone out for now until I get everything dialed in. I included a Fusion360 file so that if anyone wants to mess around with my work then they can.
I will also be trying to make this with PLA as supports and PETG as the base material. Ill try out MJF and Resin prints after I get this one right on a FDM printer.

Final Version:
This took a while to perfect, but if there are any changes you need to make because of your 3D printer or whatnot then you can modify the step file for more or less tolerance.
You're Welcome
Heres a thingiverse link too: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:7187324
I also recommend printing this at a 25 degree angle for the rectangle part to be printed upright and to have minimal supports as seen in the photo.

I didnt think the big spring was necessary so thats why I got rid of it, but it seems like I need to add it back after some testing. The turn stalk doesnt return back to zero without it.johnb823 wrote: Thu Dec 04, 2025 3:45 am This version 9 seems to have extra material like where the spring mounts. What am I missing?
Hi I'm new to the forum and have the same issue - although I purchased the new stalk to fix the problem as had a statutory MOT test required (UK). I've just acquired a 3D printer and wanted to set up to provide repairs for users this side of the pond. I will be able to try different materials PLA, carbon (probably not suitable), ABS etc. Is an updated STL/OBJ available to try this out?
Many thanks

Hi. Was there a new version created that has the wings for the spring or is the previous version 8 available to try?
Trying to decide if I attempt to print or epoxy the wings back together. I had purchased a used combination switch but it had broken wings as well. The new assemblies are now up to $650 so that’s not a real appealing option.
Thanks

Not sure if you meant for your response to be in a different thread. This one is for a 3D printed turn signal stalk base.

I mean turn signal buttons in the ash tray might be cool.
