If you've taken photos along the way and feel like starting a project thread on your rebuild, please do so. Complete tear-downs and rebuilds/restorations that others have posted on Carpokes are always fascinating.
Thank you for the kind words! Although the project has been dragging on for a long time, I just started a thread where I will try and document the main points of the build (and hopefully the completion!)

Yes Sir.
COP is what you need for ignition safety in the neighbourhood of your combustion chambers... sorry, long week at work and all that...

Looks great! It's amazing what a difference a brand new coolant reservoir makes!

Hi all,
I thoroughly enjoy being part of Carpokes and reading all the excellent informative posts, so I better introduce my 16V cars too..
This is Minty who used to be owned by Porsche AG for the first year doing some kind of promotional duties. And representing the factory, she was specced with some nice features like full leather interior, heated sport seats, cruise (which was not standard on ROW cars), hifi option and 8 speakers, LSD and 17" Cup1 wheels with XD9 option, colour matching spokes. Minty didn't look quite as nice when I bought her just before Covid arrived, But I spent a few of the lockdown months to overhaul the engine, some cosmetics and a few other items, along with a new soft top.

And Viola is my latest addition. She is also a unicorn car with its Violet Blue Metallic exterior, two-tone blue and light grey interior, and deviating carpet. She drives well but I am keen to give her some love and attention to bring her up to the same cosmetic and mechanical level as Minty. I have some great plans to make this car the best spirited driver, fun and capable 968 as possible and I have been collecting suitable parts for a while to complement the general refurbishment.

Beautiful cars! The prices on 968’s are really going up and up and I love the colors.
All I want for Christmas is a bridge spoiler……and those door panels…

Thank you NC for the kind welcome..
A bridge spoiler is one of the items on the shelf that will go on Viola in due time. But I have seen several vendors selling them so it shouldn't be too hard to get..
