If you really wanted one, I could make up a little box fairly easily give you a warning light if the pressure gets over a certain amount - another fine perk of being a carpoke. ;) That's what I did on my car. Sensor doesn't necessarily need to go where I put mine. I just put it in the neck because I was TIG welding everything I could think of at the time, to practice. :)

Let me get my dash boost gauge working first! Hoping to continue the tuning process soon as I can finally get the car off dollys and tuned. It still has the base tune :-(

I can't remember, do you have a SpeedoBooster? It's a painless way to make the dash boost gauge work for stand-alone cars (and to calibrate inaccurate speedometers...)

Nope, just a Link Monsoon-X with an aux output going to pin 2 in the footwell. I can set it up as a PWM output, but need to figure out the settings to make it work.

I have no idea what a "speedobooster" is!

Getting ready for a special cars and coffee in the morning. More on that tomorrow. :) In the meantime, the 951 had the garage to itself for a change and looks right at home!

Tom wrote: Fri Jul 23, 2021 9:51 am I always find driving my 951 helps remind me why I like it. :) But I'll admit I go through ups and downs with it too, especially when other cars/projects crop up. What's going on with that throttle body bracket? And do you have any issue with the long intercooler tube blowing loose under boost? When I switched over to that type of pipe, I just couldn't keep it from blowing apart eventually, so ended up adding these boost braces. I bought these, but they'd be easy enough to make...

Great pics gents!

I have also had issues through the years with IC pipes popping off so made brackets to keep them in place. I only had the issues on track or at autocrosses when the engine moves around alot and throttle is alot on and off compared to Street use.
Like Thom suggested really clean surfaces is important.

Jay I like your "kevlar look"!👌 I just added satin clearcoat and black porsche lettering on my 968 Turbo S/RS replica strutbrace.

We had 4 944 Turbos in the house today -- three Guards Red and one Silver Rose. That's a record for us here at Carpokes headquarters. :)
