Good catch and thanks!

Funny thing is that I initially wrote "38 years" when I was composing the post and then told myself "no!", it's only 28 years since 1998. So I edited my post, proceeding to write my reply as though the 911 in question was a 1998 rather than the correct 1988. Brain malfunction leads to compounding errors. :shh:

My current Porsche which is a 1970 911T Targa just returned to factory original Olive. Daily driver is a 2017 Porsche Macan S.

1978 911 SC Coupe
Grand Prix White with bright trim over brown leather interior
OEM Weissach tail
Stock look but "Stealth" upgraded
Balanced and blueprinted rotating assembly
3.2 short stroke Mahle high compression 98mm P&C's
All rods rebalanced, super finished, and resized for APR bolts
Refinished 40mm large port heads with TRW valves and phosphorous bronze turbo style guides, springs, Assco titanium retainers
Turbo valve covers
DR Racing 964 grind cams
Cross drilled crank
Drilled and clearanced block
Refinished rockers with RSR seals
APR Headstuds
Clevite 77 bearings
996 Turbo oil pump
Updated oil relief valves with can restrictors
Carrera 3.2 front oil cooler
Carrera fuel pump
Upgraded two line WUR
Sachs light weight clutch
Bilstein Sport suspension
Backdated 41mm OD SSI headers/heat exchangers
Dansk 2 in 1 out sport muffler with 70mm tailpipe
Rebuilt 915 transmission
Griffith AC compressor with hurricane blower
H4 Headlight upgrade
16x7 and 16x8 Fuchs wheels

Thanks! The car is a great driver with earned patina. I've put about 7,000 miles on it and have taken it on 7 club/rally drives and numerous backroad adventures. It's fun to drive with newer air-cooled 911s and leave them behind!
