For all those who have magnificent garages, I live downtown and have and old cramped house with barely a garage and have cars mainly at my office condo. No beautiful spaces.......
to say the least:)....

The car tho^
My last garage wasn’t anything to right home about… your car tho… man!! Question, given the fenders bulging out, can you actually back that out of there?

Carefully:)......however, the 992RS has no front sensors so a little care is good. I put different cars in there and have a fair sense of what fits.......

I bought mine on Amazon. Here is the link:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B9Y ... =UTF8&th=1
The install/setup is very easy. What is critical is to measure the placement before you start to make sure that:
1) You're close to a plug in the ceiling
2) You don't run into an AC vent in the ceiling
3) Everything ends up straight - especially if you install multiple rows of hexagons.
Here is one shot of my setup. There are other pics earlier in this thread.

Perfect!!! Yours looks great. I think I just want a small
Section like yours… thanks!!! Seems like they’ve come down in price a little

Tom, how are the tile floors holding up? I have thought about doing this many times but with a lift and a lot of heavy items potentially falling I am concerned with longevity.

Question on the tiles… I see guys washing cars on them, do they hold water? In other words if I peel a few back would the floor underneath be wet?

Solid as a rock, and I do really use the garage. They are at least as hard as a bare concrete floor, probably harder, but don't absorb oil/fluids. knock on wood, but I've yet to even put a visible scratch on one....

With the Racedeck/Swisstrax plastic tiles, yes, fluids will get under the tiles. The Swisstrax are designed for that purpose to keep fluids/snow/rain off the surface. The solid racedeck tiles like the ones in my old garage will seep fluid/oil between the tiles. Racedeck says not to use any underlayment for that reason -- to avoid mold, etc. (But I did put down a thin sheet, primarily so the tiles sounded better when walking on them.)
With the Porcelain tiles in my new garage, the garage would fill with water before any water could get under the tiles...
