It sure does seem that way. Wonder why? Various other teams seem to be able to achieve that in some fashion.

I think the is unstable, and Max is the only one with skills to drive it. And if you add Marko and Verstappen Sr to the mix....

Max is certainly skilled - no doubt about that. He is awesome and largely without many peers in the wet. There was a video a year or two ago of him testing in deplorable conditions. I may have posted it here somewhere.

Meanwhile, speaking of driving in the wet, here's a one-minute YouTube video posted 10 or so years ago of a 1953 F1 BRM V16 driving in the wet/snow. What a glorious sounding motor. Pretty ballsy driving too.

Due to some accumulated points he only needs 8 points in F2 to qualify for an F1 Superlicense, so no doubt will be up in F1 reasonably quickly. If one of the veterans does not perform they might even do a mid-season change.

APPLE TV INK EXCLUSIVE 5 YEAR DEAL WITH F1

Well, poo.

Yet another subscription I have to get.
These "only on" deals are really becoming tiresome.

I also saw that a short bit ago via Autoweek.

https://www.autoweek.com/racing/formula ... -apple-tv/

I've already got too many mostly unused subscriptions that I don't have time for and don't need.

Poo is right. The digital streaming madness (as well as other digital overkill and overload) appears never-ending.

With George Russell not signed for next year I am surprised his name is not being dropped for a possible move to Red Bull --- my feeling is he is one who might be able to keep up with Max. Frankly I don't understand why Mercedes has not settled with him as it appears the skills are there but the car is not quite on pace.
