HOLY CRAP!! I Absolutely LOVE what you did here. The before shots? And now the current ones? Incredible transformation and excellently done !! Thank you for sharing...One last favor...can you take a full front shot of the house (not being creepy) I want to see the full curb appeal

Thanks
Doug!

We renovated a 100 year old house a few years back. Everything had been neglected for years, but the garage even more than the rest. The garage renovation required major structural work to widen the garage and driveway including new structural steel, temporary supports for the building façade, etc.. We also chopped and re-poured the entire floor slab and epoxy coated in the garage.

Here are a few before shots and then some of it now:

I just received this week’s Carpoke summary email which has a picture of your garage in it. I’ve never seen it before, so I came into this thread searching for it. I just love what you’ve done. Is that Queens or Brooklyn NYC? I grew up in NYC and can appreciate what you said about even a small garage is a luxury.

Your garage also can function as entertainment / me-time space which is another rarity in Gotham.

What’s the conduit under the car for? I like the cable you used to hold the exterior wood planks together. Great idea! And seeing your Eley reel reminds me I need to install mine.
Sorry I am asking for this curb side view. Thanks!

ImageIt’s not much but it is used and dirty. Had to convince the significant other when building the house (a long time ago) to give up half of the basement so i had a separate garage to work in/decompress.

P_Coastal’s New Garage:

As mentioned previously, our new place has a 2-car garage that the builder drywalled and primed.
It’s a decent size approximately 20’ x 22’ with 10’ ceilings.
We had a nicely finished garage in the old place, so I have a project to finish the new one.
I am working on the design, and ordered a basic cabinet set to suit.
Will update this when I am done, here is the colour scheme:

I think you'll really like the Polyaspartic flooring. Mine was redone early summer 2018 and has been exceptional. It still looks new 6-years later. (It's been that long already? Sheesh!)
