You're not odd! At every Cars and Coffee, somebody comments on the orange side markers on my white 992. I just like them. A lot of the exotic Ferraris of my youth had big, over-sized amber fog/side lights, so that look got imprinted in my brain as Euro-exotic. :)

Hard to argue, because they match your hat. On a more serious note, I just felt the clear markers are a better match for our Gentian Blue exterior with Racing Yellow painted calipers. Then again, I'm no fashion guru. My Bride often quips she has to put Geranimals on all my clothes to ensure I don't embarrass the family  .

I put the RGS side grill screens on my Christmas list... I was shocked to find more leaves there than in the front ones while driving around this Fall.
There was a recall to replace the side grills. The new ones are also plastic but have a cross-hatch pattern with smaller openings. Not a screen mesh like RGS but an improvement. We are in a very leafy valley (at least for So-So Cal) but our Caymans never have leaves in the side grills. The fronts do, so RGS are there.

All of my German cars from 1968-2010 had orange fog lights and side markers. Japanese cars too, for that matter.

Now I know I am odd because I don't understand that post.

That's because orange is the law for all new cars sold in U.S. whether built here or elswhere. (Canada too maybe?) NHTSA stipulates orange, although changing them out after the sale is legal.

Just my opinion of course, but orange markers are hideous to me, especially considering orange exists nowhere else on the exteriors. It's the same with the horrid air-bag warning stickers on visors which is why mine get covered ASAP on every car I've owned for the past 25-years.

Quick question... The side markers from Suncoast are OEM correct? They are not the ones that protrude out like some other ones I have seen on youtube correct?

They were for me, as they appear exactly like the OEM orange markers....no protrusion.

Last night I installed a boot on my PDK shifter. Easy mod.
