I think the current process is once the cars get through port processing the dealers are invoiced and the car is officially imported.Acropora wrote: Sun Jun 12, 2022 10:22 amIt doesn’t make no sense holding the cars at Jacksonville port, ship the damn things to their destination dealerships and when the software comes available they can program it there, at least in the meantime the dealers can PDI the cars and have them ready for customer delivery, it’s mind boggling, no common sense at allHawk wrote: Sun Jun 12, 2022 7:03 amYep. No way to know exactly what happened. I can only guess that they made a recent programming change or introduced a new Gateway Control Unit supplier? I am personally communicating with three other GT3 / GT3T fellow Florida enthusiasts. All of us were on the Siem Aristotle and all four of our cars are still sitting at the Port of Jacksonville for reprogramming as of today. We are communicating on a daily basis. This "Stop Sale" also affects Panamera's, Taycan's, and 911's. I have been told that there are more than 1,000 cars that need to be reprogrammed at Jacksonville.Acropora wrote: Sun Jun 12, 2022 6:48 am
Man this is absolutely crap, something that takes an hour at most to complete they’re making you wait a month to get it resolvedI don’t understand why the rest of the GT3’s that was delivered to US since February at least 50 of them that I know of since I’m part of 992 enthusiasts group on FB and non of then has the issue with reprogramming the ecu

May have something to do with why they’re keeping them at the ports. Mine sat at Emden port for over a month I guess waiting for something too.
