It would also help if you'd post a picture of yours from the same angle as the pic posted by Pachanga718.
There are templates for all P-cars that dealerships, body shops, PPF installers, etc. use to properly align and install those kinds of trim designation letters. Ask your PPF guy if he used one - that might clarify things a bit more.

Mine from when it was at the dealership - has not changed

Thank you, from that angle definitely looks higher than mine.
Do you mind measuring the distance between bottom of the "PORSCHE" black trim piece and top of the "C" if it's convenient for you?
Also is the bottom tip of the "y" in Cayman sitting flat to the panel?
My "y" is hanging over the curve with a little bit of lift, so another sign to me that it's placed too low.
Here you go, the ruler is in on right and cm on left. Yes the "y" is off of the curve by a small amount and bends the <0.5 mm distance off of the panel. You can see it in the pict. I added one other for a full view.

That is perfect, thank you so much -- really appreciate helping out with the pics and measurements!!!
That curvy panel sure plays tricks on perspectives, mines definitely way lower (3" below the top vs your 1 and 6/8") but from most picture angles it looks like it's at the same spot as yours
