Blue black pasha seat inserts
Most of what I've done is track oriented, but I'm fascinated with all of the other kinds of mods discussed on this thread. I found a company, P1 Designs that looks to have high quality products.
https://p1designs.com/
Did your inserts come from them?
Post a pic or two if you can.
They did and Kim and her husband are both fantastic to work with. I actually ordered about 30 swatches from different companies for fabrics just to differentiate the car a little bit. Thought I would go a little bit retro with the blue black Pasha. She then ordered the fabric for me and made the inserts. Should be here any day now and I will post pics once it’s available. I can’t recommend P1 designs enough.
Thank you for the feedback! Looking forward to seeing them - I know you are too!

Fantastic!! The inserts look great, making an already highly unique car a one-of-a-kind. Groovy is a fitting description, that's for sure.

I have a 718 GT4 and I'm waiting on a 718 GTS 4.0. The one thing I'm not thrilled with re the 4.0 is the sound. The 981 base Cayman I used to own and the 981 Cayman GTS that I still own sound better IMO. I'm not looking for louder, just a better tone and less drone. Soul X-pipe was recommended, but I have yet to pull the trigger on that mod. Opinions?

Soul oap and exhaust hit the sweet spot. Especially if you get a valve controller to open when you feel like being wild!

Changing to the SOUL X-pipe will make virtually zero difference in the sound.
Best bang for the buck is AOP- you have choice of straight thru(competition) or Reasonated(slight quieter, helps with drone).
From there you can do a valve controller if you want more.

I think what he means by x pipe is the exhaust section mixing left and and right exhaust banks together to get more of that sweet high pitched scream. Most of the exhaust rear sections from different manufacturers do this well. I’ve heard several in person and I’ve owned two set ups. I think the soul oap (gives more volume) mixed with the soul valved exhaust is the perfect set up. Sounds good at high revs, when the valves are working it minimizes the drone to oem volumes, then you have valve controller to turn it off when you’re feeling wild. Whenever you get over 4K rpm valves always open so you get the beautiful sound.

I personally think the race exhausts magnify all the bad sounds. Maybe leave oem oap on if you go that route.
