Glad you found one! I'm ordering a few parts now to complete the kits. With luck, I'll have kits to sell this time next week, at least for the turbo and standard 944....Jotronic wrote: Fri Jul 05, 2024 10:35 amJotronic wrote: Thu Jun 20, 2024 6:26 pm Sooooo, what's the latest on this @Tom ? Were you able to get anything started? My TB is toast and I need a kit and NO ONE sells one:(
Update: I don't need a kit any longer as I needed a TB sooner rather than later and ordered a refurbished unit from S&P Engines in the UK. 159 british pounds, not bad.

Because I'm stuck in 2008, my current process is to send a PayPal invoice, which you can pay with Venmo, credit card, PP, etc.
Made good progress on these kits this weekend, and discovered one thing I still need to do. The throttle body screws that came with the Arnnworx kit don't exist in the wild, so Bruce would modify available screws to fit. To save myself the time and aggravation of trying to do that, I have a machine shop friend who is going to help us get a perfect replica of the originals, but that may add a little time to the process before I can start shipping. Just depends how busy he gets and when he can squeeze in a few hundred tiny screws...

Hello Tom, Assuming the screws you are referring to are the ones that secure the flap. I would be willing to take the kit less those screws. I found some online that I could modify myself. Could you ship now if the screws were not included? Sorry not trying to bug you or rush you it’s just I am borrowing a TB and need to return it soon.

Yep, those screws. I just got back from the machine shop and he's working on them now. I'm guessing/hoping I'll have hundreds by early next week. If you can hold out, I'd say to ping me on Monday or Tuesday. If not, and you really want a kit without the screws, send me an email at admin@carpokes.com and I can do that as a one-off... Whether I can pull it together before the screws are done is another matter altogether.Itneedseverything wrote: Thu Jul 11, 2024 2:58 pm Hello Tom, Assuming the screws you are referring to are the ones that secure the flap. Tom that’s great the screws are in process. I can wait as I’ve extended the lease of the TB. LOL. I’ll shoot you a follow up next week. Thanks for the effort on our behalf.

Just got word the first batch of screws are ready, so let me assemble a kit or three and post here when ready -- hopefully by end of the weekend at the latest. @Itneedseverything -- which kit do you need? N/A or turbo?

Happy to report that the machine shop has delivered an initial batch of throttle plate screws, and they look like little pieces of jewelry.
With that, I now have a limited number of 944 N/A and 944 Turbo kits available for immediate shipping. The kits are $39 plus shipping ($5 to the 50 states via first class mail). Available exclusively to registered Carpokes members.
Send me an email at admin@carpokes.com if you want a kit. Thanks!
