Just heard today that my 911 GTS went into production on the 1st of February.
My TYD stopped working a couple of days ago which I've found is an indication that something has changed.
Had to reach out to my SA for an update.

Great news! Very close to your estimated date of Feb. 4th.

My observation is the same as yours - when my TYD stops working or my "Order Created" date goes blank it is an indication that something is changing.

Keep us apprised of your GTS progress and post the production line pics.

Up to the point it stopped working a couple of days ago it was showing a 2/4 scheduled for production date.

So far it's on schedule but so was my Taycan until it sat at Emden port for over a month.
I think until it's actually on a ship you can't really rely on anything.

My SA notified me yesterday that Porsche has placed an "Order Stop" on PPCBs from 02/03/22 through allocation month 06.22. Porsche did not give any reason for the Order Stop. My SA believes, but is not certain, that this will not affect current customer orders in PAG.

Could this simply be a supply shortage issue? Speculation is that this is related to the new compound used in the PCCB pads for this MY to meet environmental regulations. There have been many complaints about the new pads dusting and juddering. Some have changed out the new pads with the previous gen 991.2 pads and it resolved all issues, however, Porsche can not sell them on new cars. Alternatively, could this be a safety related Order Stop? If so, the current cars in production and scheduled to be produced may take longer to be delivered than we anticipated.

Wow, I wonder what that means for cars that come standard with those brakes, like my turbo s? Is that compound new for '22? For what it's worth my car is a '21 and I've had no issues or recalls re the brakes. I have an open recall on a passenger seat air bag sensor, but thats it...

As I understand it the compound is new for the MY22. They needed to reduce copper and other component content in order to satisfy new environmental regulations. I have them (previous compound) on my 21 Cayenne GTS and they are great - no issues. Those who have changed out the new compound for the older compound say it solved all the issues. Guess we will just have to wait to discover what the issue really is and how Porsche handles this.

Will not be able to see the details until tomorrow am as the system updates the individual milestones overnight. Spoke to my SA and he will inquire to see if we can learn the cause. I will update if I learn anything further.

Unfortunately, it is not good news. The Lock Date (technically "Freeze Point" in Porsche speak) is the date the build is frozen (no changes permitted) and will commence production shortly thereafter. I'll have to wait until the other milestones are updated overnight to see how this impacts delivery. Every week now this build gets delayed by an additional two weeks. Just keeps getting pushed further and further out. Don't know if this is specifically related to the PCCB issue. My SA is going to attempt to find out but, Porsche being Porsche, I very much doubt we will receive a specific response.

Well that blows, sorry. On my current car, my SA pushed me to finalize my configuration by the freeze date deadline. We were on the phone at 4:30 that afternoon because once the deadline passed, that's what they were going to build. Two weeks later, I realized a couple things I should have done differently and so called to see if there was anyway they could make a change. The factory made the changes, no problem, noting that they wouldn't be building the car for a month or two, so no biggie.... No idea what the lesson of that story is, but seemed relevant....

That sucks. Sorry to hear about the delays. It will be an amazing car when you finally get it but this is so disappointing.

My GTS has the PCCBs spec'd and it went into production on 2/1. TYD is still down on that order so I don't know if anything changed. I thought the PCCBs on the GTS were the same as the GT3, maybe not. Mine locked early January so maybe that's why it wasn't delayed.

I was given the option to do Paint to Sample on my car but it would have delayed it by 2 months. I decided not to wait as I was afraid of what else would be in short supply by that time.
